Terms of Service

These terms are a binding agreement between you and DDA LLC. Please read them before using Ball Knowledge. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Ball Knowledge ("Ball Knowledge," "we," "us," or "our") is a year-round, multi-sport fantasy league operated by DDA LLC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ball Knowledge website, apps, and related services (together, the "Service").

2. Accepting these terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. By using Ball Knowledge you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. The Service is not directed to children.

4. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@ballknowledgesports.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. What Ball Knowledge is (and is not)

Ball Knowledge is a game of skill in which you draft and manage rosters of real athletes across multiple sports, and your teams are scored based on how those athletes perform. Ball Knowledge is an entertainment product. It is not a gambling service, sportsbook, or wagering platform. We do not accept bets, and we do not offer cash prizes or real-money payouts for gameplay. Leagues on Ball Knowledge are for fun and competition among their members.

Player statistics, names, and performance data are used for the purpose of identifying real-world athletes and scoring fantasy performance. Ball Knowledge is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sports league, team, athlete, or governing body.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate scoring, or use bots or scripts to gain an unfair advantage (in-app bots we provide are permitted; automated abuse is not);
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that are not yours;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy substantial parts of the Service except as permitted by law;
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including within leagues you share;
• Upload or transmit anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Leagues, commissioners, and conduct

Some features let one member act as a league "commissioner," with the ability to start a league, adjust certain settings, and manage the league. Commissioners are members like anyone else and are not our agents. We are not responsible for disputes between league members. Treat other players with respect.

8. Ball Knowledge Pro (paid subscription)

Ball Knowledge offers an optional paid subscription ("Pro") that unlocks additional features such as team customization, detailed player analytics, and an ad-free experience. The following apply to Pro:

• Billing. Pro is billed on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) at the price shown at checkout. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.
• Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep Pro access through the end of the current paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
• Price changes. We may change Pro pricing. If we do, we will give you notice, and changes apply to billing periods after the notice.
• Payment processing. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (Stripe). Your use of payment features is also subject to the processor's terms. We do not store your full card details.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by DDA LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

10. Third-party data and services

The Service relies on third-party data providers for sports statistics and schedules, and third-party services for hosting, authentication, and payments. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or content of third-party data or services. Scores and ratings are provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors, delays, or gaps.

11. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that scores, ratings, or data will be accurate or complete.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DDA LLC and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DDA LLC and its owners from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 9 through 16) will survive.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
